Why beaver?!
Beavers are home builders and nature's engineers. They gather pieces of wood and build their homes and dams that create a hospitable environment for themselves and other creatures in the water. They are resourceful and thrifty, working with what's available to them. That is why we decided to name our site after them.
We are hard working first generation immigrants and understand the value of money, and the work that goes into making it. Life in Canada is becoming more expensive, and the dollars stretch less and less every year. We select products that fit this situation, durable, well-made and at an economical price. To be able to reduce the prices, we have also done away with all the unnecessary overheads, and have a different operating model (made to measure). Since we can save on costs, we pass the savings to you.
We only source products from reputable and experienced local manufacturers, so the products benefit from high manufacturing standards and quality control. In addition to their quality control, we inspect every product before shipping it. We are constantly looking for local manufacturer, crafts person or artists with high quality products, that we could offer on this site. We are particularly interested in Canadian manufacturers of tables, dinning sets and desks at the moment, If you are one, and would like your products to be offered on this site please feel free to contact us and let us know about your products.
